A game of three quarters

Opposition Team Name: Another Vic team

Kia Ora Score: 26

Opposition Score: 27

The game was: A great effort for three quarters, if we forget the first quarter we totally won!

A highlight was : We showed some serious fight, as we came back from a score of 6-1 in the first quarter. Everyone put on their game face and pushed hard for turn overs and rebounds, and showed the opposition we were tough - mentally and physically! It was a great come back, and unfortunately we couldn't quite pull it back to score the winning point. Great effort though girls!

A special mention to: Helen was our player of the day, she displayed some great feeding and driving as our zippy little Centre, and was always making herself available through the middle channel.

Following this game we plan to...: Keep our chins up and continue to working on accuracy with our passing. Unfortunately the opposition's zone defence worked well and we struggled to clear the ball.

Thanks to: Coach Nicole who stayed every second she could before rushing off to her own game, Lou our super sub once again, Christina for not showing any signs of already playing a game before ours, and of course, Nicole's mum who stepped up as coach in the last quarter. Thanks!
