Not bad after a very confusing start

The game was: Bit different from normal, but not a bad game at all. Being down to one shooter with Sarah away and Erin out with an injury, we spent all week looking for fill ins. Night before we had two! Then with a bit of lost communication we were at the courts with no fill in shooters! All good we said, we've got seven, lets just wing it!

A highlight was : Started off well, managed to hit our goal of five goals in their first quarter, and kept the other team relatively low as well. Third quarter was definitely our finest, with some awesome intercepts through out the court, and some wonderful instruction from Mayce, Livvy and Jenna (stay there, hold! keep moving!) to myself who had jumped into GS this game, we won the quarter! Unfortunately we let them run away with the game a bit in the last quarter, and they stretched their lead back out from 5 goals to 10.

A special mention to: Play of the day was Jenna, who lay her body on the line for us again this week, hitting the deck more times that I could count, but she always got back up and kept going. And a personal thank you to Mayce for directing me around the circle, and for some star shooting.

Following this game we plan to...: Make sure we communicate a tad better with each other when finding subs... but as I said, we weren't too worried! We lost a bit of ball with passing, so will need to tidy that up heading into next weekend!

Thanks to: Thanks Erin for coming in to support us and score keep in the hideous weather, and to Kirstin, Box and Tessa for yelling on the sideline!
