The game was: One of our best overall games, everyone did their job, achieved their goals and looked out for each other. We apparently enjoy playing school girls and right from the opening whistle we were determined to stamp our authority, apart from Amy who started her battle with the WA about 30 seconds ahead of the whistle!

A highlight was : Our attacking spacing and the options available for every pass...this week we did not have any of the struggles we have had in previous week's getting the ball out of the defence end and Kirstin and Tamara had an amazing game in the mid court, always finding the circle edge for the feed. We gained a lot of turnover ball, especially in the first half, with Claire, Box and Amy all dominating their partners but also through our attacking players hustling for every ball. So nice to get this result and set ourselves on a positive direction ahead of championship round.

A special mention to: A couple of special mentions from this game:
- a 100% shooting game from Kate, with 10/10 when she came on
- the absolute control and composure from Tamara despite the unbelievably physical attention she was getting from her partner. To take that pressure and still control the mid court and feed at a very accurate rate was just incredible, well done T.

MVP however went to Box who once again relished the opportunity to teach some school kids a netball lesson, inspired in no small way by having her idol Mellie on the sideline! Her stats were impressive with endless tips, rebounds, and intercepts backed up by real strength on attack. Amongst all that she managed to find time to step in and help T teach the WD not to mess with Kia Ora :)

Following this game we plan to...: Work on man on man defending and shooting under pressure in physical games.
