The game was: Hard fought but awesome to come away with another win

A highlight was : This game certainly showed what strength we have in the team, in the club and on our reserve list. Our team of 10 had 3 out due to handball duties, 2 out with ongoing injuries, and a disturbing message from Keely in the morning left us short for this game! We had already been lucky enough to secure the services of Shani from last year's team and the good talent of Katie's cousin Moe, a wonderful scoop for us. Then with Kate saying she could play and a good contingency of sideline reserves we were ready! Our opposition was another feisty school team who didn't let us play the way we wanted, that is until our dynamic 3rd quarter again when we finally managed to open up a comfortable gap. Our defensive pairing of Megan and Bex was tight and controlled and Shani slotted in well, the tireless play of Aimee on both defense and attack is great and with Katie directing the attack end we were a good unit. A few errors crept in this week, but understandable with a complete new team. Well done EVERYONE, you were impressive , be proud.

A special mention to: POD went to Team 2 GS Kate for stepping in at the last minute and slotting in no worries! Was awesome she knew a few of the play moves after being part of our twilight trial team. Thanks so much Kate you're a star!

Following this game we plan to...: Make sure we have a team for next week

Thanks to: all our supporters, I hope you are all enjoying the display as much as I have been.
