One of those days where things just didn't go right

Date Played: 5/28/2016

Kia Ora Team: Team 2

Opposition Team Name: HHF1

Kia Ora Score: 20

Opposition Score: 38

The game was: Not our best! It is hard to pinpoint exactly went wrong....we started well and were in contention in the early stages before HHF stacked in the pressure and we couldn't keep in touch. We are a team that never gives up though and was great to see us keep fighting till the end.

A highlight was : Having all 10 players fit and available this week and being able to mix up the lineup to try to make a breakthrough. It really shows the versatility and strength in our team right through court and just how different combos suit different game conditions.

A special mention to: Bridget was MVP this week for her hustling defence at both WD and GD and for putting into practice what we worked on at training.

Following this game we plan to...: Train! It really showed that we missed decent trainings this week and having opposition to push us, let's hope we can get some good practices in before our last game of this round which will be another tough tough game as they all are in this grade. Let's forget about this one and move on....we are safe and need to focus on the challenge round!

Thanks to: Our massive support bench this week....although don't think we were ever going to win the sideline haka competition with HHFs very impressive and noisy support crew court side!
