If you can walk off the court feeling like a winner even when you lose then you have done something right!

Opposition Score: 32

The game was: Exciting and closer than the score let on

A highlight was : This week we played top of the table who are smoking all in their path. Going into the game we knew this was going to be a challenge after being beaten on grading day 16-2 to this team. Keeping in mind the score from grading day we should've technically had a score closer to 32-4 but were able to put up 15 on the board which is the highest score anyone has been able to achieve against this team! We used this game as an opportunity to try some new combinations and work on balancing the court. I was really pleased with the performance team nine put on court on Saturday, we set individual goals for each quarter and were able to achieve them. Whilst the score suggests we were smashed it felt very close and we were still picking up lots of lose ball.

A special mention to: Player of the day this week was Nicole. Everyone who had an opportunity on bench said it was obvious that she had a stand out performance! Nicole played a whole game at WA this week and whilst this was a difficult team to compete with Nicole was able to easily get centre passes and hold her ground and even picked up an intercept midcourt. Special mention to Steph who had an opportunity to play 3/4s at GD, she also had an awesome game and was forcing the shooters to shoot from further out (sadly they didn't miss) but well done for the added pressure!

Following this game we plan to...: Work more on fitness as we are still struggling collectively and some feeding into the shooting circle.
